It is important to us that we create beautiful and unique gardens. This begins with a design. With our design work, we aim to soften the divide between house, garden and wider landscape, creating flowing, seamless spaces. We take cues from the property and landscape, integrating your own requirements to design an outdoor space that works for you and the property for years to come.
We provide a full range of design services. From outline design proposals through to master plans, construction detailing, planting plans and lighting design schemes. From your initial brief and information gathered on site we will produce an outline design. We will then work with you to develop this design through to the finished product. We do not charge for the initial meeting & site visit, so please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Our projects generally involve excavations; most of which involves our own plant and machinery.

Many of our projects involve the use of reclaimed paving from york stone to setts and cobbles. All of which we will source. Often used in combination with local gravels for paths and drives.

Whatever the size, no garden is complete without planting. From bespoke containers and planters to extensive herbaceous borders and from mature trees to instant hedging, we can design, source and carry out the planting.
Many of the plants we use are grown at our own Yorkshire Dales based nursery, ensuring the plants available to us are appropriate to the local climate and allowing us to grow for specific projects if required.
We also work closely with the best growers, both here and in Europe to ensure we can source the highest quality stock for our clients.

“John and Josh worked with us through the initial design stages to the completion of the of the project creating a garden we are proud of. The hard landscaping gives us the formal structure we were looking for and the new planting provides us with fantastic seasonal colour and texture.” – Robert Pettit, Harrogate
